Compilation mission
Compilation assignments are generally intended for companies or organizations that do not have to answer to external users (banks, investors, government, etc.).
The compilation engagement (also known as a 'notice to readers' engagement) aims to compile financial information into financial statements. These statements are accompanied by an engagement letter signed by a CPA. A minimum level of verification is performed, but no assurance is provided to users.
Prices
For year-end closing, the fee is generally between $2,300 and $3,000 plus tax, depending on the workload and the complexity of the transactions. The fee may be reduced or increased depending on the workload.
